So.....1st sorry to have been M.I.A. Alot has been going on. My game and bodyshop have been crashing every time I load them up. If I was lucky I got 5 minutes to play before crashing. I loaded Pleasantview and tried to play the Broke family and it crashed. CAS was also crashing after loading. I spent a month trying to go through my DL folder and even re-installed my game but still crashed. But with a little googling I found a program called Graphics Rule maker over at Sims Network! It worked like a charm! I got to play my game for 2 full hours yesterday without crashing. I turned it off and started writing down all the projects I wanted to start on! And simmies I wanted to make! I did however find out that on my laptop I have Sims 2 UC and on my desktop have all physical disks with the sims 2 store edition so I cannot play my Walnut Springs hood on my laptop. Also I think it somehow got corrupted cause it crashes on desktop when I load it. I used SimPE to extract them from the game and will work on Walnut Springs 2.0 soon! I've also been playing around with Milkshape to learn more about meshing. I am hoping to post new stuff this weekend! If anyone has anything they want me to make I will try as long as it's within my sims making knowledge lol.
Now on to life in general, there are some days I don't get to play Sims at all because this momma is run down. The oldest son will be 13 this summer. Teenagers! Nuff said right lol! I'm about to hook a food IV up to him cause he's always hungry. Also how is it for a teen to shower?! He takes them but I gotta be like "Dude shower now!" lol! The 7 year old finally started getting help. He got into therapy but was still having issues. We got in touch with another therapy place that does a more in home approach at least 3 times a week instead of 1 time a week for an hour. We also are getting him the right meds that work for him. He was diagnosed with ODD and ADHD and possible autism. Currently awaiting autism screening appointment. There is a 6 to 8 month wait list and they haven't even called to put him on it yet so it may be longer. My daughter is 2 1/2 and still isn't speaking, hearing tests were incomplete since 19mo old. Finally they said they had enough data and they think she can hear but doesn't care to listen. Did a vestibular test which she cried the whole time so they said it was incomplete and to come back when she's 5. At 19mo old was diagnosed with autism and referred to therapy for Speech, occupational, and physical therapies. She has low muscle tone in her legs and used SMO braces but they didn't help so her therapist said she didn't need them anymore. Between the autism specialist, neurologists and developmental pediatricians the say she has developmental delay, mixed receptive-expressive language disorder, Autism, congenital hypotonia, lack of coordination, toe-walking, and oral motor dysfunction. She also recently started feeding therapy because she doesn't chew her food she shoves her mouth full and swallows whole which causes her to choke. Her therapy(all except feeding) recently said because she's not progressing they have to stop and to come back in 6 months when she's older. Her doctor said no she needs the therapy now and set us up with a case worker to get into a better therapy called ABA therapy. She has a long tough road ahead of her but she is a smart little girl, loves figuring out how things work, and loves Disney+. Tinkerbell and Ariel are her favorite princess then it's Elsa and Moana and Merida. She has a routine of which movie to watch first lol. She may not be able to talk full words but she will squeal out every Disney song at the top of her lungs!
