This tip is by Murano, aka Teko (reflexsims). It was posted at the TSR forum a while back. You need SimPE for this and all needed for the program to work correctly to recolour, etc. Open the object mesh in SimPE
Then go to
1. GMDC > Content > Groups
From the group section select all that would be ending with ...shadow (example southwallshadow, groundshadow, etc.) and click Delete for each part selected and Commit
2. SHPE > Parts
Select exactly the same element(s), Delete and Commit.
Nothing else to do except save the mesh package. You can rename it with FIXED at the end, but then rather Save as...
Check ingame the old version and fixed version for the object to see the difference. If you're happy with the result, keep the fixed version. The textures, new and old will show up wit the fixed mesh.Credits for the tip Murano (Switzerland), retired mesher.
